NOELLE HOGAN
Noelle started violin lessons with a Suzuki program in the Chicago suburbs at age 5. She was invited to play with the “Vivaldi Strings”, a Suzuki style group that performed throughout Chicago. Noelle’s favorite memories of the group are playing in prestigious downtown hotels like the Drake as well as Orchestra Hall.
In high school, Noelle was concert mistress of the orchestra and played in many pit orchestras. She also began playing professionally as part of a quartet at weddings and special events throughout the Chicago area. Noelle continued to play professionally though college and also improvised with local alternative bands which expanded her skills to include all genres of music.
Twenty years later she still provides music for weddings, receptions, cocktail hours and all types of special events. She covers Buena Vista, Salida, Nathrop (Mt. Princeton and other area resorts), Leadville, Summit County (Frisco, Breckenridge and Dillon), the San Luis Valley (Alamosa), Aspen, Snowmass, Vail, and beyond.
Noelle also teaches violin to about 20 students at a time. Several of her students have chosen violin as part of their college degrees or post high school jobs. She volunteers in the Alpine Orchestra, a community group conducted by Beth Steele that performs in Buena Vista, Leadville and Salida.
